Hey guys, I was watching old Steven Universe clips, because I like the show and what. And while watching this scene and thinking about Corrupted Steven, a few shots caught my eyes. First was when Steven was squeezing the sponge while talking about his hatred of Kevin. It’s the same kind of Purple as the Mysterious Worm/Wyrm monster. Showing maybe the corruption could have started that day if Connie and Greg didn’t help Steven out. Also when Steven said he hated Kevin, his teeth were jagged like the Watermellon Stevens, Catcus Steven, and wormie boi. Another sign of possible corruption. So yeah, just more possible foreshadowing of Steven turning into this monster. I just wanted to let people know. Later.

Debunking the Corrupted Steven theory

Hello everyone, today I’m going to prove how the giant pink worm monster in the intro cannot be Steven corrupted. I know that a lot of you think it could be Corrupted Steven and want it to be Corrupted Steven. However, it can’t be Corrupted Steven. Here’s why.

1) Steven has been shown to be immune to gem technology and gem weapons. In Jailbreak, Steven wasn’t affected by the yellow electricity fields on Peridot’s ship. He also wasn’t affected by the gem destabilizers. In Steven Universe: The Movie, he didn’t poof when Spinel striked him with her rejuvenator. Only his gem half was affected. Also, that thing in the intro didn’t look human at all.

2) Only the Diamonds can corrupt gems. In Made of Honor, Bismuth said and I quote, “Only a Diamond can do damage like this.” Currently the Diamonds are on Steven’s side and they love him. He reminds them of Pink Diamond so they’d have no reason to corrupt him.
