Tony had successfully put together the ingredients for perfect meatballs and let them set in the refrigerator while he made the sauce.  He set up a pan on the stove and took out a large platter to place them in so that they would be made when he started frying them.  Opening cupboards and drawers, Tony hunted for something to use to make uniform meatballs.  The melon-baller was too small.  The cookie scoop looked like it might do the job...

Sochi Women's Figure Skating Result Rant.

I'm sorry everyone, but I just had to write a rant about the final results from the Sochi figure skating events. Just ignore me if you are not interested.

Kim Yuna was completely robbed for her gold medal. Okay maybe robbed isn't the best word to describe the situation. Kim Yuna was CHEATED. I am going at this from a completely unbiased stand point (okay maybe I am a little biased). Adelina Skotnikova is a great skater and she had a jam packed free skate program that is for sure, but really? 

First of all, Yuna should have been much more ahead after the short program was done. She delivered a near flawless short program that could have easily gotten her at least a 76. How she ended up with only about .25 points over Skotnikova I will not understand. All of Yuna's jumps and landings were precise and elegant. She had poise and finesse. Skotnikova was good and her spins are awesome, but not even good enough to put her that close to Yuna. AND how the hell did Yulia pull out a 5th place short program after she completely lost it with that crash?!  Now onto the the free skate. Skotnikova was beautiful and, again, she has amazing spins, but she was no where close to Yuna when it came down to execution of jumps and foot work. Skotnikova was unstable coming down from her jumps and her edges were just not cutting it. Yes, she had a filled program with 7 jumps, 5 being combinations, but she should've had points deducted on at least 2-3 of those jumps. AT LEAST. Queen Yuna on the other hand had 6 jumps, 3 being combinations. Yuna was absolutely perfection when it came to executing her program. Her triple lutz, triple toe combination blows me away. While Skotnikovas triple triple was lacking and bobbly. Yuna's triple lutz, double toe, double loop is the best that I have ever seen. Yuna is clean, graceful, and passionate when she is skating. Her jumps were graceful, clean, and precise. Her lands were flawless and her edges were just great. Compared to Yuna's quality, Skotnikova's quantity shouldn't have been enough to edge over the Queen let alone win by a margin of 5 points. Don't get me wrong, Skotnikova is young and talent, definitely, but the scoring was ridiculous.  Yuna's skate was Vancouver 2010 world record quality, and yet she wasn't even close to her record. Preposterous.  I know that figure skating is known for having corruption in judging, but the Olympics in Russia just makes it even more obvious. I am pretty damn sure that the gold was planned, by Putin, to go to his "angel" Yulia, but because she ate ice in her short program, he changed his plans. The goal for Russia's skaters was to not fall and skate well, so that it wouldn't seem AS obvious that they cheated when they received ridiculously high scores. They also purposely put their skater behind the Queen, so that they could say "RUSSIAN SKATER UPSETS QUEEN YUNA FOR GOLD". Now, Skotnikova is going to sit on her high throne that Putin gave to her, but she will never how the rest of the world feels about her "win".  This being Yuna's last olympics just makes it even more upsetting. Yeah, she said that winning the gold wasn't important and the main thing was the opportunity to be competing at the Olympics, but It has to hurt, especially after skating with all she's got. I mean figure skating is what she has dedicated her entire life to, this is her dream, and to have to experience something like this at THE OLYMPICS must sting. I really hope that Yuna changes her mind and comes back for the gold in 2018, because I honestly think that age won't be a problem for her skating. I really want to see her not only take back what is rightfully hers, but also completely and utterly smash Putin's little minions and I know that she will do it fairly. I am pretty damn sure that if his skaters were to skate in a completely and 100% fair competition outside of Putin's control, they wouldn't be scoring such high scores. It's just crazy. Always supporting QUEEN YUNA!! You are the true gold medalist in our hearts and you were absolutely beautiful on the ice. It was amazing just to see you skating at your best. You kept your cool, even though the results were unjust, but most importantly skated with all your heart. A true role model.

He chuckled softly, brushing a hand through the older man’s hair as Tony kissed his stomach. “I figured that might brighten up your day a bit, getting to feel how active your child is getting.” He rubbed at the side of his stomach as the little one moved around a bit more before settling again. 

"What are you working on? I was thinking I’d actually fix dinner myself tonight, if you’re okay with that, so I wanted to see how much longer you were going to be down here. Well… that and I miss you… you didn’t come to bed last night…"

Tony slid his hand up Steve's stomach to his chest and stood, moving to his side slightly so that he could put his arms around him and kiss him properly.  "I'm sorry," he sighed, thinking of dodging the question of what he was working on, but remembered they'd all made an agreement to be honest and talk to each other openly.  "Any chance you know how to make meatballs and spaghetti sauce?" He smiled boyishly, and let his hand slide down to Steve's stomach again.  "I was working on planning out places where you, James, the baby, and Tesla could hide if you have to," he admitted hesitantly.  "I've also been trying to figure out how to talk to you about an optional idea I had."
