unpopular opinion that im fine w grishams hair being stupid because it reminds you he's a pokemon character but in actuality, i think it's probably meant to resemble female pyroar like how lysandres resembled male pyroar, both of them being leaders of their respective flare teams and his lingering reverence to him

Like I said in a different ask I think it's meant to resemble the Team Flare Nouveau logo because it's a pretty exact match, but that said Grisham having a hairstyle based off a female Pyroar specifically would be very Trans of him

something i really like while following backmaker is how you portray mundane things, like really grounding and just life actions; everyone still crowded at the door having to remove their boots and in the previous part, texting about where you are to get picked up and seeing their face. maybe it's because I'm canadian but the vibes of a winter night make things feel very nostalgic and cozy

aww I'm so happy to hear you say that <3 I think it's so important to remember the mundane actions in life, it really adds that little bit of extra depth to the world. especially with this comic where something unnatural and fucked up is happening around these characters who are so human and just trying to live their human lives around it all. thank you so much!! <3
