We’ve been talking about makeup for a long time now but I’ve never shown you where I keep it. It’s no secret I have quiet the makeup collection (we all sarcastically gasp together 😂) and because of this I tend to rota my makeup so I have foundations, blushes, concealers etc I always swap around so I make sure I’m always using different products and not wasting anything. When you have a big collection it’s easy to forget about old products you loved before but haven’t used in a while because you have something new to try. So when I’m swampping products around I use my Paul’s Boutique Makeup Up Bag to put the products I’ll be using that week in, so in a way it’s like a makeup pic’n’mix. This makeup bag is my favourite and I’ve had it since I was around 16/17 years old so it’s seen a lot of life and a lot of makeup phases in the late teen years. After using Fenty for a little while I swapped back to Revolution but as you can see in my pic it has snuck its way back into the makeup bag and what I love most about this bag is you really can get a lot of makeup in there so it’s great for travelling and throwing in your bag.

I always think it’s a great way to make sure you’re getting the most out of your collection by updating your makeup bag, swapping products around and trying new combinations you haven’t before. This has stopped me getting stuck in the rut of using the same products over and over, I try to change my makeup bag every week so on Monday I have new makeup to play with (except it’s obviously not new). While I love trying new products I never want to just ignore the other products I have because something new has come along so it’s a great system to change things up.
