Coul Links is an incredible habitat which is home to so much wildlife and many birds, including some that are quite rare. A planning application has been put in to build an 18 hole golf course on this amazing place. Please email your MSPs and ask them to do what they can to stop this, and if you live elsewhere in the UK please there is a Scottish Minister that you can email too. The RSPB have templates you can use

Incase anyone's having a bad day here is some good news to cheer you up (it certainly has cheered me up)

- we're very close to banning greyhound racing in Scotland, the bill passed stage one today!

- the natural environment bill Scotland passed today meaning the government must set legally binding nature recovery targets. And! Improve deer management and require swift bricks in new developments. And!! The bill passed WITHOUT part two which would have laxed rules on environmental impact regulations. While there are some very disappointing parts also passing (concerning muirburn and the hunting of mountain hares) it's still a really good step in nature conservation and restoration

- the transphobic hate group "sex matters" have had a terrible day! The Council of Europe voted to ban conversion therapy today. And Hampstead Heath ponds will remain inclusive because their stupid legal challenge has been blocked!
