Part 1: Today my mom, sister, and I were supposed to pick up my violin book at the music store. We arrived around 7:50 and the store closes at 8:00. While checking out my book, my mom mentions my broken ukulele strings. Not wanting to keep the employees at their job longer, I told her not right now. But my mom tells the cashier all about my broken string on my cheap ukulele, and this is where my self diagnosed social-anxiety (my mom won't let me get a therapist) comes in.

do you have like a school guidance counselor? they could help you out with the mom thing but for now we can think of little things:

1. step away from the situation 

2. have a good word with your mom

3. seriously step back and take a deep breath

im basically scarred from this moment and now I think everyone at that music store thinks I'm a brat

2/2 Not wanting to stay at the music store longer, my emotions start to act up. I get all jittery and just want to go home. I keep on telling my mom that we should go since it was getting to be about 7:57ish. The guy is almost finished talking about the ukulele strings and whine to my mom, saying that we should go home because it was nearly 8:00. The guy finally finishes talking and I try to go quickly out the door. My sister catches up and says that I'm a brat which legit ruins my night
