Lara:*she immediately stops..... because the figure looks... awfully familiar.*
Lara: Mother?....
"……Madam Odius?"
So it’s a game show like Galaxy Warriors? What do they think of each other?
Diremond fucking despised Galaxy Warriors, and thought World Wipers was the far superior show. Mostly because to him, Galvanax and Odius began prioritizing obtaining the Ninja Nexus Prism over ratings, essentially destroying the whole point of the show. Diremond really considered Cosmo Royale the only redeemable part of it since he at least tried to entertain and keep the show the way it was supposed to be.
Ah, show business and mad science. Two very fickle, very unstable professions.
Cosmo Royale, Power Rangers Ninja Steel
Out of all the processes to make the monsters in Power Rangers grow, this has to be the most entertaining.
I just wish there were more examples of the audience hating monsters so much that they don't gigantify them XD
Two episodes into Power Rangers Ninja Steel, and I'm starting to think that Cosmo Royale should have been the main villain. He'd be a nice departure from the gravelly-voiced generic doomsday villains we've had in the last few years, his design looks pretty neat, and I like the idea of a game show host who's not really into taking over the world, just causing damage all over the universe for fun.
At the very least if they're going to run with the Galaxy Warriors idea, they should have a plot point where the constant monsters getting defeated starts to affect the show's ratings; now my mind keeps imagining the people in charge of the show being some kind of Lovecraftian beasts that for some reason want to use a TV show to spread chaos across the universe.
They’re idiots.
Cosmo: You're not gonna use the tools we've given you to construct some kind of ironic comeuppance for us?
Monty: Whaaaat? Oh, Cosmo, where do you come up with that stuff?
