day 133: hand made

ID under cut because its longer this time but i am planning on making these jeans in real! currently the jeans have some of the red accent stitching and i have a hal 9000 patch (that will actually go on the back pocket not where i drew it) but i havent done anything else. likewise with the patch i think some more of the design will be spaced out due to more of it being on the back of the jeans. i just didnt want to draw it twice.

i appreciate anyone who suggested stuff in Lil Hal Nation and if anyone has any more ideas i would LOVE to hear them

[ID: transientcuriosity drawing of lil hal both thumbs pointing to himself. torso and above is incredibly simple, if a little silly. the main focus is hal's jeans with a bunch of designs going on: > There is red stitching as an accent, red piping around pockets and outer seams. black and silver studs on cargo pocket flaps. > Theres spider web embroidery on the top right pocket, D-rings at the belt loops and on has a chain attached. > Some embroidered flags on the pockets with the right one having the trans flag and the nonbinary flag and the left one having a small objectum flag patch. > There are a few other patches with a Heart aspect stylized as circuitry, a voltage warning sign patch, and a patch that says "HAL 9000". > Theres a collection of small gears and a can tab sewn on and safety pins around. There are also some screws on the legs of the pants. > There is a bunch of 0s and 1s: binary code that reads "alive". > Near the bottom there is some drawn on designs with one leg having a bunch of eyes looking, semi-realistic, supposed to invoke hal 9000 camera eye but also human shaped. > The other leg has some teal swirls reminiscent of the Mind aspect symbol. > There is some more circuitry patterns near the bottom of the pants. > There is a crossing pattern at the hem of the jeans. its more of a personal kiibo cosplay but ive been working on it for the past 3 days [still buying the materials]. currently, all i need left is to buy black boots comfortable enough to walk for long periods [i already bought myself an insole meant for my flatfoot], a spring clip [for kiibos ahoge], and the eva foam [which ill be buying on friday]. i MIGHT swap out the cardboard for thicker eva foam since thats probably a lot better [since i live in a tropical country]. overall, im planning on making this as comfortable as possible so i can ACTUALLY use it in my uni classes. i need to finish this before august 18 since thats the first day of uni [and i really hope the new freshies wont be intimidated to see me]. im technically a sophomore now.....
