Original costume was handcrafted for my final university project, envisioning Zelda as the Queen of Hyrule after Tears of the Kingdom. Key design elements include King Rhoam’s crown from Breath of the Wild, a fusion of the Royal and Zonai crests, and, of course, iconic Triforce motifs. Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect her royal evolution.

Today is the 25th anniversary of the US release of Legend of Mana! I got the game later in summer so it hasn't been quite 25 years since I started playing it, but it's pretty close 🧡

Thought I'd post these Lady Blackpearl photos from 2012 to celebrate. I've fully remade the costume since then but I still love these pictures!

Making Isaac Night's Coat IRL!

Part 1: The Mock Up

If you didn't see this coming after I said I'd been studying him meticulously, you might need glasses 😬

As of this morning, I've finished the mock up for Isaac's coat! Now I'm just waiting for the fabric to arrive!

The coat will be made of brown polyester wool and fully lined with a velvet midnight blue "starry night" fabric, because his name is Isaac NIGHT! (get it?? I thought that would be a really cool detail 🥹) The stand up collar will also be lined with the starry velvet!

I used a pattern I've used once before, and I did everything from memory and calculations. The sleeves I drafted myself based on my own measurements and math. I did this because the sleeves from the trench coat pattern were insanely oversized, but I wanted to keep the pattern intact. The pattern was entirely much too bulky and large, but I managed to tailor it pretty well, I think!

The collar is pretty floppy in the photos because I have no clue where I put my interfacing 🥲 It will definitely be stiffer on the real thing. I also did welt pockets!

Overall, I know what I need to adjust now when I sew the final coat, including making the sleeves much longer.... I have a whole numbered list, haha!

I know you all care about Isaac in a much different way than I do (as I see myself as actually being him) but I hope you'll appreciate my attempt at recreating his super cool coat nonetheless 🥹

Elnina (Deltarune) Cosplay Reveal!!

I don't know how I managed it (horrific lack of rest) but I managed to make Elnina wearable for a convention today!!!! 🎉

I have a lot more to do on the skirt, and I'm hoping to adjust the fit on the cloud hat, so stay tuned for more updates/cosplay walkthroughs!
