My first cosplay! I chose Hyuga Hanabi because I really like her look in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations :3

I first cosplayed Deidara on Halloween of 2008.  Over the years, I have changed, altered and added to the costume to try to best represent him. 

I cut and styled the wig.  The ponytail is removable which allows me to use the same wig for the pre-Akatsuki version.  The metal of the headband was engraved, drilled and curved by my coworker. I sewed it onto the elastic band. 

The mouth of the hand is made of Worbla and attached using a clear elastic band.  The scope is made of Worbla as well and is attached to the headband via sewing snaps.  The lenses of the scope are red and blue cellophane so I can see through it.  I'm also wearing colored contact lenses.

Deidara is my favorite character from Naruto: Shippuden and I had a blast cosplaying him for so many years.

So I had been kinda absent these past days but as soon as the holidays week starts I’ll be back in tumblr, reading, rebloging and posting content of everything but mostly Gaara
