this is the worst. Honestly they need to screen questions before someone gets to the mic or they are written/submitted before hand (this has been done and Q/As I’ve been too before for big name people) sure people could spout whatever once they got to the mic but maybe it could get shut down? I find QAs hard to sit through. So much 2nd hand embarrassment. Both for the poor panelists and the people asking questions. Often questioning in my mind ‘Why the hell did you think that’s ok to ask?!’

I CA N NO TTTT stand Q & As for this very reason.

At most of the SDCC panels they’ll screen the questions but sometimes people will get through like Button Lady asking Cumberbatch to say “button lady” because she also had a question lined up. But they STRAIGHT UP HAVE IT ON SIGNS DO NOT ASK THE ACTORS TO DO THINGS FOR YOU.

Sometimes Q & A are totally harmless. Like there was this little kid at the Regular Show panel at SDCC who asked a question about “Wigbee” and it was super cute. So it sucks that because people are so fucking rude/weird that you can’t get normal Q&A without massive 2nd hand embarrassment on epic proportions when it should just be a mildly uncomfortable situation tops

If it's any consolation...you can paint tile.

I feel like painting tile in the shower is not a great plan, though. At least, not long term. And honestly in the short term I don’t mind the color -- but I think I might retile the shower before I move in just because that way I can still shower SOMEWHERE. :D

not only did they retile it in Poop they did a poop job of it! none of the joints are square!

I did note that whoever installed it did not apparently use spacers or a level...

Depending on costs...and if your going to re-tile anyways. Look at costs to maybe replace the tub with something bigger/deeper? (also depending on the rules of your HOA regarding that kind of work. I work for a property management for HOA so..ahaha all the rules =_= )

I honestly don’t mind the tub -- it’s old but you can’t really go bigger (the wall, which intrudes into someone else’s unit, is in the way). It just that tile, good god. 

Fortunately when I moved into this place I took out the shitty showerhead my landlord had installed and put in a nicer showerhead, so I’ll take that with me when I go, because the one true bathroom issue in a non-aesthetic sense is that the showerhead leaks like CRAZY.

These are growlers?! They are amazing!

They’re Ukeg Growlers (I do have an AU site if you want) and yes, they are complete amazeballs.  I don’t drink beer, but I do love me a nice apple cider (and ginger beer) so they’re for my precious so we don’t end up using His Lordship’s cornelius kegs for small runs

Dude this! Buying that many would have been a DREAM for me growing up. I actually had one a few months ago. A tiny local grocery (the kind that's been around FOREVER) had them at he check out and I had to get one! I hadn't seen them I forever...I was running around for work so i couldn't get more...next time I went back they didn't have them ;___; I keep hoping to see them again! (I've also has a wicked craving to have Zots, another odd candy, they are a hard candy with like a fizzing center)

OH MY GODS I REMEMBER ZOTS TOO. THOSE WERE SO WEIRD.

Yeah in the town I grew up in, there was this tiny little candy shop that we used to go to as kids because you could fill up a little paper bag with all the old-timey candy for like a buck, and they always had ice cubes. And then istg I didn’t see them anywhere for like 20 years, and then all of a sudden, bucket of ice cubes in the pharmacy!!! and I decided that part of being an adult is being able to spend $20 on three months’ worth of nostalgia chocolate if you feel like it. XD

@illwynd dude! We are talking about the super melty chocolate 'ice cubes' right?! We used to get those as a super special treat from the gas station near our house sometimes

Yaaaas those are the things! A few years ago I found a bucket of them at the pharmacy in town here and I bought like half the damn bucket and kept them in the freezer (because where else would you keep ice cubes?) because you hardly ever see them anymore. So very om nom.

Do it, whatever the thing is. There is a lot of flux in the world (beyond the obvious) but I hope, while this shakes things up and upheaves ‘the normal plan’, that this is a positive in the end

Yeah, I almost certainly will... at the moment I’m sort of running in circles all overwhelmed with decisions and worries and feeling like I ought to do everything nownownow... which is neither desirable nor actually possible. So I gotta just wait until I can manage to chill a bit and start sneaking up on progress instead because that’s how I roll.
