The first cosplay I posted online was one of Kurapika from HxH, of the particular scene near the end of the anime series where he's sitting in a dim room with a phone in his hands.

It was to promote the "Scarlet Eyes" Earrings from my shop inspired by the earrings he wears, and also part of the #Blacktober hashtag movement to bring visibility to fellow Black cosplayers and artists! I had so much fun donning my earrings, wig and suit, and being able to participate in a community that's given so much to me!

Cosplay is an aspect of anime/video game fan culture that I'd wanted to get involved in for a while, and just begun pursuing more seriously recently! I run a shop called iconografi.com, where I sell handmade accessories, merch, apparel and more inspired by anime/videogame/JFashion aesthetics in general, and in doing so I've been able to create accessories for both cosplay and every day wear. Essentially, figuring out how to weave together my interests in the visual arts, photography, crafting and cosplay is how my small business came to life!

Wow, was für ein tolles Bild vor dem Festspielhaus. Die Robe passt perfekt. Allerdings würde man mit einem solchen Kleid keine Oper im Festspielhaus besuchen können. Die Sitze sind nämlich nicht sehr breit. Wow, what a great picture in front of the Festspielhaus. The robe fits perfectly. However, one would not be able to attend an opera in the Festspielhaus with such a dress.
