52. Talk about someone in your life who has died 

“I don’t know what t’ say, other than that I miss my idiot brother. I mean,  Cale was... prob’ly closer t’ me than anyone else. Course he had an unfair advantage, but hey, I ain’t goin’ t’ hold that against him.”

“...Verse says there are a lot of myths about how twins are two halves of the same soul, an’ I could almost believe it if I thought we had souls.” 

“...’s hard not t’ see him in my own reflection sometimes...”

50. Who would you save- yourself or a stranger?

“If this is a question of morality versus self preservation than the answer is neither. In the grand scheme of things there ain’t a single one of us that’s worth a damn. I die helpin’ one hapless person then whoopdy-fuckin-do, they’re goin’ t’ die later down the road anyway. If I save myself I get another day until I do the same.” Rock shrugs, hands sliding into the pockets of his jacket. He appears to the roll the question around a bit more, before shaking his head.

“If I have t’ pick, then it’s myself. I may not care when or where I die, but I know someone who does, an’ I’d really hate t’ disappoint him since I kind of like him an’ all. That an’ I’m pretty sure what remains of my family would track my dead ass down just t’ figure out how t’ lecture or punch my ghost.” A half smile, briefly flashes on his face. “So for the time bein’, I’ll do my best t’ stay in as few pieces as possible.”

36. What would you tell your younger self

“…there’s a lot I’d like t’ say t’ him, given the chance. I’m not sure where I’d start.” The DLN crosses his arms, green optics focusing hard on the ground. “I’d, heh, I’d like t’ pretend I could walk away only sayin’ some stupid edgy-ass one liner or whatever, but I know it’s not what he– what I– needed t’ hear. Not the me who lived in that little apartment with his father. Not the me who fought his first battle Not the me who got himself trapped…”

A soft synthetic sigh punctuates a long pause.

“I guess I’d just tell him the truth: You’re not goin’ t’ grow up t’ be the person ya think you will be, an’ that’s fine. Life ain’t just good guys an’ bad guys– an’ even if it was, ya don’t owe anybody shit.” But there’s more, so much more. Too many hard-won lessons he could’ve used years prior.

“Don’t do things because you’re “supposed” t’ do em. Don’t cling t’ people who say they care when you know the truth– you deserve better than t’ be someone’s punchin’ bag or fixer-upper. You deserve better than people who hold you at arm’s length because you’re dangerous, but promise ya that they trust you with their fingers crossed behind their backs. Don’t look t’ anyone else for who or what you should be. If ya do anyhtin’, do it because you enjoy it. Not because you are obligated. Not because it’s your purpose. Not because it’s “right”. Not because someone says you will finally be worthy of affection if you do. Do it for you, because followin’ anyone’s guidelines but your own will only leave you miserable.”

“Well…” Rock’s trying hard to think of something he can’t possibly be made fun of for but knowing his siblings… everything is blackmail material. 

“…I am definitely the person who sings in the shower an’ car.“ That seems like the thing he’ll get the least amount of flack over. “…an’ not all of my music taste is,“ he rolls his eyes preemptively at the next few words. “…classic rock. Take that as ya will.”

🌟- For a secret wish or desire of theirs

The X pokes his fingers together. “S-so I’m, kinda.. well, I’m a history buff.” Which is something most people know purely from catching glimpses at Xanti’s reading material. “…but I uh, I don’t get out a lot. You know, work stuff. I’ve kinda always wanted to visit the Renaissance Fair though, spend a summer working there maybe, but even more I want to join a group like the SCA! Which uh, probably sounds pretty ridiculous coming from an android of all people, eheheh…” 

🌜- For a ‘weird’ habit or tic that no one knows about

What would be considered weird people don’t immediately pick up on? His social failings were quite apparent to everyone, so this left the OVER-unit at something of a loss for a moment. 

“I am unsure if anything strange I do is not already obvious, but I suppose you could classify me as a compulsive… gamer.” MMOs, RPGs, dungeon crawlers. “I am very numbers oriented, and systems that allow me to build gear and correct stats towards an end goal have particular appeal. The amount of time I have put into some of these games is something others might consider embarrassing?“ It just doesn’t really come up in conversation normally.

(Romantic/affectionate/etc. touching. If he’s not close to you then this is the quickest way to make him uncomfortable and get him to freeze up for at least a few seconds. Of course, he’s gonna try to zap you afterward, but it’s possible to send him into a brief panic depending on his mood and the whole situation overall.)

For Blues, evil is when someone does things only for themselves at the expense of others. He counts Light as evil cause Light used him to get military funds at his expense (Blues’ core wouldn’t have become unstable if not for being weaponized). Wily is evil cause he uses the robot masters for his own personal gain.
