“I’m still pissed about yesterday,” Finn began, turning to the person opposite him. “The one time I actually show up to class and it’s cancelled. They’re lucky I don’t care enough to complain.”
“don’t touch those, please,” she said to the person that had been closer than comfort to her mimu gloves. “they’re extremely expensive and it takes months to get them just right,” she said as she continued messing around with her editing software on her computer.
valentina sat by the bar with a glass filled with liquor in hand, tapping the nails of her free hand against the wooden surface. dark hues were lurking across the bar as she tried to find the person she was suppose to meet with. turning her sight to the person sitting beside her she rolled her eyes. “i’m getting tired of waiting.” she complained and took a sip of her drink.
christian looked at himself in the mirror that was in the hallway of his house and smiled. his hair was nicely combed in a neat side parting and his priest shirt and collar was on, making him feel very confident. they weren’t the most flattering clothes, but he wore them for his lord and that was special to him. he was the only one that could make sense of the world and that had honestly kept him alive the last few months, after what happened.
he stepped outside of his house and smiled at the first person that passed him. “good morning.” he greeted them.
"oh jesus!" she said as her daughter's rollerblade hooked with her foot, sending them both to the ground. "honey ---" she said, standing up and helping tj up, only for the eight-year-old to lose her balance and end up on the ground again. gracie placed her hands on her head for a few seconds before sighing. "alright, take 'em off, put these back on," she said, dropping a pair of sneakers next to tj. "but get out of the way real quick," she said, helping her little girl out of the middle of the sidewalk. "sorry we're in your way, we had a little mishap," she said. "that wasn't a mishap, that was just plain sabotage. these things hate me," tj said as she kicked the skates off of her feet.
“question: when they shot bambi’s mother did you find that to be a sad moment ? at all ? ‘cause i used to cry a damn river whenever i saw it. that, when the lady leaves the fox in the woods, when mufasa dies. those movies ruined me as a child. i swear they never failed to turn me into a cry baby.”
“i swear i’m not lying, till about twenty minutes i had just been in bed all day long.” expressed samantha, rubbing her temples as her migraine was kicking in. “my head has just been killing me lately but my stomach has needs and sadly for me this place doesn’t do delivery.” she added with a shrug.
