#CosplayGlowUp! I went with the first costume that I ever made to one of my biggest costumes I made this year that I'm really proud of. 2011: First Self Sewn Cosplay: Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh Made for Halloween in 2011. I made the ears using faux fur and pink felt (tbh, if I remake the costume I plan to use the ears, but on a different wig). That Value Village wig though... bad idea even for Halloween. I just used broadcloth for making the costume, and it looked like blue pajamas with a tail sewn on. Tail even has doll's hair in the end. The costume was based more on the classic drawings in the books. 2017: Most Recent Proudest Sewing Job: Water Spirit Made for the Single Pattern Contest at Costume Con this year in Toronto. Used different kinds of satins, organza, crepe. The costume has beading and jewel work. There are some things I want to fix but I'm still really proud of this costume regardless. I used McCalls 6049 and modified to how I wanted but still stayed rather true to the design of the pattern. I can't wait for my next sewing jobs!
