The Vampires of Anchordeep

Be wary of the dark unlit waters of Anchordeep, traveler, for there in the darkness lives beasts known for their insatiable bloodlust. Their skin black as night, their eyes redder than rubies, and the silence to carry them close to you before you ever have a chance to realize you are being hunted.

Some say they burn in the crystal light. Others claim any light can drive them back. Some say to look into their eyes is to become frozen in fear or be hypnotized into submission. Whatever it may be, there are too many lost to the dark waters to safely say what parts are true or not. Better keep on the paths, traveler, lest ye be the next one whose blood stains the waters...
