He knew that it had helped him. Being a professional cuddler wasn't the type of job that got you respect at family reunions, but Jake loved it, nonetheless.

When Carlos walked into his life, albeit reluctantly, Jake wasn't sure he could be what the other man needed, but he desperately wanted to be. Jake had never met someone else who understood that sometimes the simplest things weren't easy at all, but they were worth fighting for.

Jake Jensen Headcannons

Kay, um, I have a lot of Jensen headcannons that I want to share. So here you go.

Songs I was listening to while making this

Jake Jensen headcannons (ft some Jake pinning on Cougar (i think))

He’s bisexual

Secretly does he’s own makeup

Nobody knows about the fact he wears makeup except Cougar and his niece, Beth

He now does Cougar’s makeup. (when he lets him)

Jake is really affectionate with the people he trusts (mostly Cougar and Clay sometimes Aisha or Pooch)

May or may not have a nut allergy

Or a pineapple allergy

He’s allergic to peanuts, almonds, pine nuts, walnuts, pecans, coconuts, hazelnuts, brazil nuts, pistachios, and cashews

But he can eat other nuts

May or may not have worn high heels as a dare in college

Ok it might have not been a dare

On several occasions Jake has almost killed himself eating peanut butter

Now he’s forced to always to carry his epi pen

May or may not have a crush on one of his teammates

Jake denies it every time they ask who does he a crush on, but they all know it’s Cougar (except Cougar)

Who would blame him though, Cougar is really pretty, he would die for him and if anything were to happen to Cougar he will kill the person who hurt him and would do anything to get into bed with him and ok Jake might have a crush on Cougar

Loves sushi

Almost as much as he loves Cougar

Has possible ADHD and autism

Always has a stress ball with him

Sometimes he will have a meltdown during a mission and he needs to get out of the place him and his team is staying at so sometimes he asks Cougar to take a walk with him till he calms down

Luckily that doesn’t happen often

Cougar is teaching Jake breathing exercises for when he isn’t there when Jake has a meltdown

His hyperfocus is hacking and anything that involves computers

Loves TeoTheLostBoy

Knows how to slow dance but he just doesn’t have a slow dance partner

Kinda wishes that Cougar was his dance partner

Also knows how to swing dance

He is easily flustered so whenever somebody tries to flirt with him

He also full body blushes so he’s whole body is red

So kinda like:

When he finally does get with Cougar, he often tries to get Jake to blush to see his body turn red.

Likes to play minecraft

Constantly buys Cougar flowers
