#Repost @iamsilvialazzarini ・・・ Where do I start? Here’s my husband capturing a moment that I’ve been waiting for 25 years. He said I had only one thing to do, pass my book to this childhood hero of mine, without considering the fact that being in shock, my frozen hands started to shake 😂 Long story short, I managed to pass him an upside down memoir book that was shaky too 🤣 He started to laugh, signed the book and said to me “This is an upside down Bono 🙃 is that okay?” 😆 Yeah sure but “I’m not okay” as you have probably noticed already Bono🤣 A few of us telling him you are my hero/childhood hero/inspiration/a legend and he replied back you are my heroes too 🫶🏻 Amazing show! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the last thing I was expecting was Bono imitating Pavarotti and his 🇮🇹 accent (couldn’t stop laughing with another U2 fan from Manchester sitting next to me) and again Bono singing Italian opera’s song “Torna a Surriento” that made me jump on the chair 🪑 and shout BRAVO so loud that for a second I forgot about my throat infection 😅🤐 The words he spent for his wife Ali (who I met in Dublin years ago and was present at the gig) and the new acoustic version of With Or Without gave me goosebumps ♥️ His openness, his performance and the connection with the audience made the whole atmosphere unreal. Because sometimes someone else says it best:

And if shit hits the fan between us, he’ll respect my space but he’ll never leave my side.

He won’t disregard a fight as something I’ll get over. He’ll work to make things better because he never wants to be the reason I’m hurt. He’ll actually give a shit about my feelings.

He’ll make me look forward to our future together because each and every day he will inspire and bring out the best of me.

But he’ll still make me feel like the way I am now, even with all my imperfections is already perfect.”
