There have been many version of movies about Three Musketeers and many actors who played The Comte de Rochefort.

While Christopher Lee's portrayal in the movies directed by Richard Lester was the most influencial (try to find Rochefort without the eye-patch after that!), Edward Brayshaw's Rochefort in BBC tv show Three Musketeers (the one from 1966, not 2014) is spot-on. Fine-looking, mysterious and intimidating, and that elegance when he wraps his cape around himself. ;) Fair hair was a surprise but it allowed to easily distinguish him from other characters.

While Brayshaw's Rochefort didn't manage to escape the trope of becoming much more villainous than in the novel in Further Adventures of The Musketeers (adaptation of 20 Years After) he is definietely my favorite interpretation of the character.
