This scene is one of my absolute favorite moments in all of star wars. It literally makes me tear up every time I watch it. There is something so powerful and beautiful about the love that Luke posses, even to a man that he didn't really know and was actively hunting Luke down. But Luke had learned about who his father had been from two people that had known and had cared for Anakin. Although he may not have had the whole story, he still had that hope that his father, the once-great Jedi Anakin Skywalker, would do the right thing once more and help put an end to the darkness that plagued the galaxy.

AHSOKA is a character that I have a deep attachment to, despite also believing that she has overstayed her welcome. When I first got into Star Wars, I was instantly drawn to the prequels and the Jedi. Ahsoka served her character purpose as my vehicle into how the Jedi Order ran, why they believed the things they did, and how they could have fallen are hard as they did. As Ahsoka learned how to be a better Jedi and Commander in the Clone Wars, so did I. As she grew older, learned and failed and succeeded and changed, I did too. And for that, she will always have a special place in my heart.
