Always pride myself on being 1000 percent me and 1000 percent transparent where necessary (because people think they are entitled to know your whole life but 🖐🏽 you’re not 🙂). 16 Days and Counting... . I’m 2017, ya girl said goodbye to Georgia State and walked across the stage with my college degree. Being a mom at 19, getting my degree was something that I thought I wasn’t ever going to able to get. I had problems getting loans, planned to go to the military until they told me I couldn’t because I was 17 so that left me with one choice... Grind it out and find a way. That’s definitely what I did. . Life will throw you obstacles and it will throw them at everybody, not just you. It all depends on how you approach the situations and are throw into and how you handle them. This will ultimately show your character and true colors. 17 Days until 25 and I’m taking it back to the end of 2016, beginning of 2017, when I actually started taking my YouTube channel serious. . . Even though I was posting videos here and there since 2012 (kinda like I do now🥴), I did not take my channel serious because I did not think people were actually watching what I was doing. December of 2016, I hit 1K and realized that my subscribers were actually super invested, I made the decision to go ahead and make it a priority. . . With that came makeup tutorials and my hair journey and that’s how I started working with brands. I was filming things that I normally would do anyways without the camera but it was also a little weird and intimidating at first but it became second nature. . . It’s still weird for me to film around people 😂 But yea, my tribe is what made me stick to YouTube. 19 Days until 25 and today’s post will be about my first best friend I’ve ever had @russ__286 😊🤞🏽💙 . . My little brother was born in 2000 and if you know, you know. At the time, we lived in Meterie, Louisiana and I was going to a school called Prime Step. I was 5 turning 6, and at the time I did not want a brother, I wanted a sister. I had a bunch of cousins, all boys but one and I needed another girl around so I wasn’t always left out. Lol. But if you know me, you know I’d kill for mine. My brother used to get on nerves, All The Time. He’s sneak into my room with his whole comforter and sleep at the bottom of my bed or he’d sneak in the bed while I was sleep just to be close to me. Of course we used to fight all the time but that’s what siblings do. . . As I got older and I had to spend time away from my brother way earlier than most (most would be leaving for college but I was 16). While going through some few obstacles in life, all I wanted was to be around my brother and to help him through anything he could possibly run into and prevent the same things that happened to me from happening to him. . . This is my boy 4L💙🤞🏽 and yes, I know my son looks like him. Lol. If I’m on, you are too. 20 days left and I swear I can’t make this up. . . If you would have caught me at 19, no parents for guidance, struggling to pay rent and bills because I came to Atl for college with only $1000 to my name from graduation money, allat... . You couldn’t tell me I would be in the position I am in now. I thank God everyday for what he has planned for me and where he has lead me in life.
