Cartography, the art and science of making maps, has been part of human history for thousands of years. Old maps have the magic of taking us back in time and see the birth of the modern world.  ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The oldest know world map the Imago Mundi was chiselled on a clay tablet in ancient Babylon in 6 B.C. Ancient Greeks in 4 B.C had similar maps though they correctly believed that the earth was not flat, but a sphere.
