I think we should start a campaign maybe something like #KaitlyntoClexaCon, because they deserve to be there. They played a one of the first non binary characters ever, and are non binary themself. They’ve also created Couple-ish, which feature queer poc, and a non binary character. They have released songs for queer people, and honestly have done so much for our community.

And they should be a featured guest, not just a panelist. So maybe if we @ Clexa Con enough they’ll get it. That we want Kaitlyn there. For the captain of LaFerry!

Watching shows like Wynonna Earp and Supergirl and Carmilla and Couple-ish and stuff with gay relationships make me realize how lonely I actually am...

I absolutely adore @kbearluna‘s brainchild, @coupleish. Its ridiculous and tropey, its queer as fuck and everyone does (eventually) have a happy ending. One of the protagonists is NB and proud and it doesn’t fall into that unsatisfying trap that Carmilla had where everyone was queer and there was no mention if it, like it was the ideal accepting universe that we don’t actually live in.

The last two episodes got me though. Dee’s mom, who had previously not been accepting of Dee’s gender, calls herself out and apologizes for her behavior. She’s trying, and she doesn’t want to hurt her child ever again. She apologizes. Its realistic and its everything you could want.

It makes one incredibly wistful tbh.
