can i ask what’s happening? i haven’t seen any big media drama as of late
Apparently Miley Cyrus was talking shit about Nicki Minaj the other day in an interview and Nicki won an award and DRAGGED her live on tv and called her a bitch and it’s just... idek but it’s great to watch. Also MC would have deserved it even just for the fake dreads she’s wearing. I thought she’d stopped being racist and gross but apparently not.
I have a 5 month old black-capped conure. When should I introduce bathing to her? And what's the best way to go about it, so as not to scare her and keep the experience as positive as possible?
There’s really no specific time for it, whenever they’re presenting calm body language around you, you can try offering them a tub and see if they show any interest in it, putting some beads or other water-resistant toys in a dish of water may help to pique their interest. A dish is really the best way to go about it in the beginning, once more trust is developed you can try showers or spray bottles but it’s best to wait until the birds are really settled in for those because it’s very easy to mess up and stress them out. If she’s calm enough to come out and be on people you can try putting a bathtub on top of the cage and let her explore it, otherwise just place it on the floor of the cage for a while and remove once the water gets soiled/ end of the day.
Odds are they’ll just start bathing in their water dish anyways! Just takes some time for them to feel comfortable enough bathing elsewhere.

A call out post? You don't want to help anyone, you want to start a witch hunt. You want to look good for pointing the finger and yelling, "LOOK I'M BETTER THAN THIS PERSON BECAUSE I RECOGNIZE THAT THAT PERSON DOES BAD THINGS." Who cares? People are ALWAYS going to be 'problematic'. You can't 'cleanse' the world. Just be like, "Oh man, this sucks. I'm gunna go over here now." Problem solved. Just because you yell at someone doesn't mean they'll change a damn bit.
is this the new copypasta
