I feel like jehan would be a poncho person, yanno? so I gave them my poncho to smooch courf in :) I also couldn’t decide whether I liked the colour or lineart version better, so you get both.

when I was doing this height differences post I was gonna include courf and jehan then I realised... I don’t have fixed height headcanons for them at all? I can never decide which I prefer! so have all three - tall courf and short jehan, both short, and short courf with tall jehan. all in autumnware because cOSY.

so I really liked this sketch before I coloured it and now I’m eh because I got carried away playing with a fluffy texture brush, so I feel like it’s... lost something. but hey I guess now it’s essentially the definition of Soft which was at least partially what I was going for.

I’m always a little bewildered by the trope that so frequently crops up in fanworks of jehan sitting in courf’s lap all the time? I mean all courf/jehan is obvs beautiful and valid but uh why have self-contained introvert jehan be the lap-sitter when courf, the CLINGY SHAMELESS CANONICALLY PHYSICALLY AFFECTIONATE EXTROVERT, is an option??? regardless of pairing or height difference that boy is gonna be climbing into any spare lap he finds!! welcome courfeyrac the lap-invader into your hearts and fanworks today my loves.

I bought some ink the other day and I’ve really got back into ink-painting my doodles now! I’m still working on remembering all I learnt at a-level, but I’m very much enjoying it :) headcanon: jehan’s hands are always bruised and stained; bruised because a natural consequence of hanging out with bahorel as much as jehan does is getting into fights all the time, and stained because jehan’s favourite pen leaks like a motherfucker...

I know I’ve already drawn one of the photos from this photoset, but I wanted to have a go at the other one - I had a hand-drawn sketch of courf and jehan but it was just missing something, so I had another go, and I’m much more pleased with this one!

I know there’s not much fic exploring these two in canon era (sobs) but in my head I always feel like it would be jehan making the first move? I imagine courf as talking a lot of talk, and is probably very casual in most of his relationships, but when it comes to situations that have potential emotional risk he’s a lot more cautious than anyone would expect. but jehan is INTREPID and he’s had enough of vague dancing-around-the-subject flirting - he wanna smooooch that boy! they’re at jehan’s for an afternoon where they’re supposed to be editing a draft of a new leaflet...but something tells me enjolras isn’t gonna be getting that new draft on time...

I’ve been playing around with canon!jehan designs for a while but could never get his hair right, and then I saw a post somewhere about him wearing a doublet and having an ugly pageboy haircut and I was like, oh no it’s perfect. so I drew him one and I forgot the fringe and uh... he turned out kind of hot?  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ OH WELL. fun fact: the page on jehan’s knee is actually made of vhugs’ manuscript! not that you can tell but like. fun fact.
