people have a tendency to think stalking is bad
this is impossible
it is only bad if you do something bad with it. you could also do something kind or courteous; you just have to be extremely gentle, respectful, and not act entitled to others¹. i don't know if most people have the necessary skill but it's functionally possible
for example, finding someone's address and sending them a gift would be bad. if they want gifts they'll have a throne. it would make most people feel scared. but writing a poem where they might see it one day without demanding it is both just and moral
¹you can feel entitled to others if you like, but there's no reason for that to by iota change your behavior
