Nature Expeditions Through Colorado by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: At a picnic and rest area in Curecanti National Recreation Area with a view looking down and then across the Colorado landscape. Here I had a chance to use a layered abroad with the view by angling my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward. This downward look would create a more sweeping view to the lake created with the Gunnison River and nearby ridges. Another layer would be those distant peaks of the San Juan Mountains. While overcast that morning, I was able to add some definition to the clouds present though using the DxO PhotoLab 4 ClearView Plus tool.
