Finished my first twist front headband. I’m super happy with how it turned out. Thanks @_claudetta_ for the great instructional video on @youtube. The project was super easy and a great intro to doing a simple cable twist. I used @lionbrandyarn Thick&Quick acrylic yarn. I did it! My very first knitting project is completed and I’m pretty sure there’s only one tiny mistake no one but me will ever notice. I got the pattern for free from @cj.dsgn; this is her excellent #AlpesBeanie pattern and you can follow along with it in her YouTube channel. I made mine a little bigger than the pattern called for because I have a huge 24” head and didn’t want it to flatten my hair. It is very warm and cozy, made from a 80/20 acrylic/wool blend yarn. It was knitted on 9mm 16” circular needles.
