“It is reassuring as we were concerned for all patients with chronic lung disease," Dr. Purvi Parikh tells PEOPLE, but she urges against developing a "false sense of security"

ok this crisis is hitting me hard today...gona cry a little and then write an email to my school /reblogs get blocked
its really hitting me because i don’t wanna lose the entire year but i also know that the financial strain + mental stress of going to (online) university is not worth it right now and things will be hell in the months to come and i can’t take it so i’ll just have to take my degree and try to make the most of this year and just try to figure out what to do next. its sucks because i was finally on the right track to take on this semester, i already had plans/contacts for my apprenticenship, i was gonna work on some proyects with my professor that could help me in the future and now that’s all, very probably, gone unril further notice
and i asked my mom for advice and she’s an angel and she supports whatever i do but im frightened, im scared that things will get bad and this will be the least of my concerns and im scared that things will be okay sooner that i thought and this will be a dumbass decission. bad times :(

Justice Qazi Faez Isa Recovers From Covid-19
Justice Qazi Faez Isa will be discharged from the hospital, as the test result was negative for COVID-19.
After their health deteriorated, Justice Qazi Faez Isa and his wife Sarina Isa were moved to a private hospital.
Sources said Sarina Isa also recovered from the coronavirus, as her COVID-19 diagnostic report came back negative and she ended the quarantine period on the recommendation of doctors.
The SC judge will also be discharged from the hospital after a quick recovery of health and, according to the doctors, his saturation level is also normal.
It is appropriate to mention here that Supreme Court (SC) Justice Isa and his wife Sarina Isa tested positive for COVID-19 on July 23 and were admitted to a hospital on the advice of physicians for complications from the coronavirus.
A panel of doctors examined him and advised that he be transferred to a hospital for further treatment. His medical reports, including computed tomography (CT) scans, were found to be unsatisfactory, the sources said.

By the time this post leaves my queue and enters my archive (Monday, 2 August, 2021), I will officially be “Fully vaccinated” against COVID--19
I’m still going to be reluctant to socialize freely without a mask, because even fully vaccinated people can catch and spread the Delta variant -- without a clue that anything’s wrong.
And I don’t want to be responsible for anyone else dying.
(I don’t watch TV, and I have an ad-blocker installed, so I don’t know. Have there been Public Service Ads, circulating, like the old style “Don’t Drink and Drive” campaigns? But for “Get Vaccinated to Save a Life,“ instead? If not, there should be)
So, I just got my second COVID Vax shot (Moderna, if you were wondering) a few hours ago. And I did get a few symptoms from the first one.
I'm expecting to feel really yucky and tired for the next couple of days. And I'm not planning on not be adding a whole lot more to what's already in my queue (as of typing this, it's loaded up until Friday at 10:30a).
So if you send me an ask, and I don't reply, I might be (temporarily) ignoring you. But I'm not avoiding you.
Stay safe, people! And get a vax if you're eligible. Feeling yucky is temporary, the worst side effect of catching COVID is not.
