I've got approx 3 months and 26 in game days until winter and I have to preserve and stockpile food. Currently have no idea what winter will hold and if food will be available. Current goal is to survive as long as possible

It is now early autumn, and now I must move my house and stockpile food before winter. The area I am currently at is rich in food but not in ores. I am moving to an area richer in raw materials so I can progress technologically, although the region has much fewer foraging resources food wise
