Presenting: The Woods System!!
Liu Woods (System Host)
(Headspace age: 13)
- 13 years old and unscarred in headspace; looks like how he did before the incident
- A bit childish and reckless
- Cares deeply for his friends and alters and considers them family
- Has severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Borderline Paranoia, Mild Depressive Disorder and PTSD
- When he's fronting he tends to age regress to around age 13 often, but not always
- Misses Jeff and his parents deeply and is actively seeking Jeff out; constantly on his trail
Sully (Persecutor)
(Headspace age: 27)
- Isn't allowed fronting often
- Formed almost immedeately after the incident
- Deals with fights and violence outside of headspace
- Violent and temperamental
- Gets into arguments with everyone constantly-mostly Casey-and lashes out at them
- Attacks Sam at random because he's so much like Jeff
- Does care about Liu; wants to protect him from the world and wants to avenge Liu and his family by killing Jeff
- Hates Jeff with a passion
Casey (System Protector)
(Headspace age: 38)
- Acts a lot like Liu's mother used to act and parents everyone
- Formed when Liu was about 15 and going through therapy
- Fronts most of the time unless Emily, Liu or Sully are fronting and co-fronts whenever Liu is regressing
- Forgives Jeff to an extent but is extremely weary of him and believes he needs to go through serious therapy and rehab before he can interact with Liu again
- Wants to save Jeff, same as Liu
- Argues with Sully constantly
- Tired mom friend
- Drinks too much coffee
- Protects Sam and everyone else from Sully
Sam (Companion/Comfort)
(Headspace age: 13)
- Sam formed when Liu was around 25
- Acts almost exactly like Jeff used to but is kinder and more considerate and slightly different in other ways
- Doesn't front often
- Extremely empathetic and good at comforting/destressing people and resolving tense situations
- Disaster teenage boy; avid gamer
- Him and Liu (mostly Sam) are the sole reason they own both an XBox, a Switch, and phone games
- Sully attacks him a lot and he's absolutely terrified of Sully
- Comforts Liu and hangs out with him almost 24/7
Emily (Companion/Assistance)
(Headspace age: 19)
- Emily formed around the same time Casey did
- Incredibly smart, sassy and a very outgoing person
- Helps Casey with fronting most of the time and doing financials and stuff
- Hangs out with Sam and Liu a lot
- Was the main reason they went back and finished highschool and the main reason they're so good at budgeting and can afford to travel and follow Jeff all the time
Please feel free to ask me questions about them/draw them/etc!!! Reblog if you want!!! This redesign-esque thing was inspired by the fact that the fandom very much so demonizes actual DID, and I wanted to take a spin at giving Liu a real actual trauma based system and the like. If you don't like them that's fine! But I encourage you to take your own spin at making it less...horrid. Thanks for reading!!!
