Just finished my (probably) last Homestuck reread before it ends. It remains my favorite body of work I've ever experienced, and every time I go through it again I enjoy it more. However it ends, I enjoyed the ride and am grateful for being a part of the community that helped shape the story. Yes, Homestuck is a legitimately important thing to me and yes, I know, I'm a huge nerd. I'm not ashamed. Deal with it. Thank you Andrew Hussie and the Homestuck community.

Did you ever get into Mass Effect? I feel like you'd really like it and I'd love to hear your thoughts about the characters/plot/like everything

oh—i’ve really been meaning to!! it’s just kind of been a backburner thing right now because i don’t exactly have a lot of money i’m comfortable spending on games atm, and usually when i do have money i’m using it for something else. :(

but i’m still really interested in getting it sometime! i think i just gotta get through my other big-dosh games (skyrim, bioshock infinite, stuff like that) before i get excited buying more expensive games heh. at least, mass effect SEEMS like the kinda game that won’t be any cheaper than like $40, even if it’s a little old now lmao. & i was kinda thinking of starting with 3 (i think that’s still the most recent) even though i know it’s a really plot-heavy game i think?? ‘cause my interest is primarily in 3 and stuff that ive seen that’s in 3 & i’m just thinking thats gonna be where i’d want to invest in the games first haha.

but if i like it like i like skyrim, i’ll probably go back and buy the earlier ones too! i’ve got oblivion & morrowind waiting for me to finish the skyrim main questline hehe.

i think i’ll really like it too though, it looks really fun!! i just haven’t really had a chance to go buy it yet, & i’m not really comfortable with any “other” means if getting it, lmao.

…….. actually, i think i wound up with a copy of mass effect 2 somehow. lemme just—yeah i’ve got 2, i don’t quite remember where i got that???? :o so i guess i’ll start with that since it’s here anyway!!!

i kinda get the feeling its one of those games i’d really benefit a lot from by starting from the first game though?? it seems really story-oriented and i’m worried i’d get really lost if i tried to start from the third one. assuming the third one is even the most recent hahaH SEE I DONT REALLY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT EXCEPT SHEPARD & GORGEOUS PEOPLE. & SPACE.

altho thats basically what i did with elder scrolls. liked the fifth one so much i went and got 3 and 4… which i still need to play but i wanted to beat skyrim first. >_>

i’ll have to look into it though! i’m not sure how well 3 stands on its own as far as going back and saying, “hey this is everything you did except you didn’t do it because you’re late to the franchise you cheap piece of shit.” but if you think it does ok at that i’ll look into it. ovo & maybe snatch the older games up in a sale sometime like elder scrolls…

I got a job today!
