in which lots of people think all these dave-dying hints are directed at alpha dave, but to me they all sound like hints that davesprite will die except for the fourth wall fiasco, which peachy just helped explain to me anD I THINK IT ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE????

what if instead of having dave use anti trans slurs in your ftm!dave fanfiction to augment your characterization of him, you had dave use slurs because in your fic he is actually a massive bag of dicks who thinks its cool and not harmful at all and probably does it due to internalized misogyny and needing to fit in. and he "gives permission" for john to use anti trans and anti gay slurs and they go online and laugh at social justice bloggers and make trigger warning jokes and there would probably be some sort of plot and resolution but nobody would ever find out because before that point the entire fandom hates you for writing this. i dont know why i thought this was a good idea.
