How I feel about this character LOVE HER. let girls be angry and non-apologetic about it!! she’s RIGHT!!! i like that she didn’t show up in hoo (not that i remember???) so rick didn’t have a chance to throw his bullshit at her so she has pretty solid characterization throughout all of her appearances in the series. im LOVE HER UR HONOR
All the people I ship romantically with this character silena. no questions asked. literal achilles/patroclus mirroring like hello??? hello?????? i actually have this theory that maaaaybe mayhaps rick actually wanted to make them a couple (or at least Implied) but folks at disney vetoed it. there’s just no way rick, who surely knows his greek mythology, didn’t know what he was doing. i don’t hate charlie/silena or chris/clarisse, but silena/clarisse is *chef’s kiss*. im love them.
My non-romantic OTP for this character might be kinda weird but percy???? i loved their whole antagonistic dynamic, i think percy needed some real lighthearted teenage drama in his otherwise very heavy, high-stake life. the only relationships that give him any semblance of this are clarisse and rachel (even tho both are Entangled in the world hear me out ok) rachel bc she starts off as a mortal and isn’t even actually In the story until almost the end of tlo, and clarisse because she’s just antagonistic for the sake of it. like she just doesn’t like percy’s face. that’s what teenagers are like lmfao also she doesn’t Really hate him, she thanks him more than once in the books, it’s just. How She Is. i love that!! i love them.
My unpopular opinion about this character hmm idk if i have any? i wish she’d ended the series without a romantic interest but at the same time i think chris/clarisse was kinda sweet, and if she had it would’ve probably played out kinda stereotypical (oooo big ungirly angry girl doesn’t have boyfriend bohoo :() so i think i’m kinda neutral really lol
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. KISSED SILENA. nah idk as i said i don’t feel negative towards her appearances so i don’t really think there was ever really anything missing? she’s there, fulfills what she’s there to fulfill, pronto. more than most rr characters lol
