You know, the funniest thing about Wick to me is that Sam ALWAYS tries to create an unlikable character and ends up making them extremely lovable. It happened with Scanlan, who was originally conceived as an attempt to make the worst dnd character ever and it ended up being THE Scanlan Shorthalt with one of the most heartbreaking moments in the campaign (the bard's lament ofc), it happened with Nott, who started as a comedic character and ended up having one of the deepest backstories and important relationships with the other characters, and it happened with FCG, who also started off as a comedic character and ended up making all of the table cry.
And now, everyone hates Wick and wants Wick dead. Sam finally made it.
