when Vandran pointed the falchion at Fjord’s sternum I thought “oh foreshadowing” and then Sabian actually stabbed Fjord’s sternum and I thought “OH FORESHADOWING”

the emotional whiplash of travis almost crying because all his friends were outfitting a powerless fjord with all their extra weapons and magical items to "if you make a comment about my strength, i'll throw you into the lava--" "well, you couldn't"

!!! SPOILERS FOR FJORDS ARC AND THE END OF CAMPAIGN 2!!!
they were insane for this
not the kind of burn you normally think about getting in a volcano
This was mind numbingly adorable so naturally I had to draw it
(Please ignore the terrible smoke cloud I did my best)
Because I’m even more of a disaster ADHD corvid (“ooh! shiny!”) than usual, I’ve been revisiting Critical Role campaign 2 via podcast between current episodes while I do all the other life things I have to do.
I got to the end of episode 72 “Clay and Dust” and just... I forgot how unequivocally and immediately the rest of the M9 showed Fjord how important and not powerless he still was. The handing over of weapons and discussion of his non-magical strengths (and then Nott’s teasing about is lack of physical strength lol).
And I was crying again. Perhaps even more than the first time I watched. Because I know more about Fjord now, and know where this one decision takes him. And how important this new family of his is to him.
I’m just full of feels. I love this show so much.
