About an hour into this one!

I love Caduceus’s Rhino metaphor, but tbh I find it very unlikely that this man knows wtf a rhino is. He does not know plant names, he is not a naturalist, this man has a negative intelligence stat.

But also can I take this moment to rant about how much I love this dumb arrogant Firbolg? His voice is just so deep and warm, I smile whenever he gets any dialogue. And he is just always so sure that he’s right. A legend.

OMG the scry is a scary turn of events. What does the bright Queen know now? I actually think the m9′s paranoia here is an interesting example of how unused they are to being trusted, because they really haven’t kept any big secrets from the dynasty. They’ve been honest about their pasts, and about their continued belief in the goodness of the empire. Really the only part they may be obfuscating is how intense their devotion is/isn’t, but that’s something I think the Queen might assume to be exaggerated anyway. They truly honestly have nothing big to hide except Diaron. So as scary as scrying is, I think they should be good?

HAPPY FUNBALL EPISODE!!! I knew they were going back to it at some point, but I didn’t expect it to be now! This is going to be very good.

Ok this is just a little detail of Matt’s amazing level of story telling: He seems to be giving Goblins the same accent that Sam gave Nott at the very beginning of the campaign. She used to have this really intense cockney that eventually faded, probably cause it was just too hard to do for long stretches of time, into the shrill scratchy place it’s at today. But Matt doesn’t have to do each NPC for that long, so the cockney remains!

Also I reeeaaalllly wanna know more about Wentsworth some time. How’d this nervous little guy end up an archmage’s personal assistant? Is he a disguised halfling too? If he’s not, I wonder if he doesn’t have a backstory/motivation pretty similar to what we all assumed early-campaign Nott’s to be? Does he hate other Goblins too? I WANT TO KNOW!!

Wow everyone’s reactions to Allura were so fun to watch. She’s a beloved campaign 1 ally, right? What a fun mood-booster for Matt to come up with! You could really feel the tension in the room lift as she entered.

You see what looks to be a human woman, pale skin, light kind of greying blonde hair that’s braided back behind her with gems kind of tied throughout each braid, an intricate satchel over one shoulder and a long dark blue dress.
