Is this the most I’ve ever laughed in one episode of CR? It’s very possible. This is exactly what the dr called for after the intensity of recent events. Even the serious rp bits of it were just. Silly.

Such a sweet Caleb and Nott moment. I love how clear it’s always made that Nott is just as good at this stuff as Caleb, and that he couldn’t have done it without her. And also Caleb commenting how lucky Yeza was to have her?!? What are you saying buddy? You want what Yeza has, do ya?
Also Bless You Laura Bailey for pointing out how that whole long convo happened while they were cuddling. Two characters having deep emotional convos while holding each other, especially these two characters who were once so physically close, is just. The best.
Wow. I know that this prison guy must be Essek’s doing cause I’ve been spoiled about that, but I didn’t actually know about this being one of his crimes. It’s different somehow, because this man he’s fucking over wouldn’t be some faceless mass that you’re selling out, this guy was a colleague, someone Essek knew. And he just fucks him over and lies so smoothly about it. What a cool character.
I know important stuff went down w the Queen and all that but tbh all I can think about is the Undead Weasel. Best running joke, although sometimes the casual animal abuse does make me genuinely uncomfortable. This one was funny.
Ok I’m starting to think Laura low-key wants Caleb and Nott together, too. Or at least she’s every invested in their relationship. She asks again at the end convo here if Caleb and Nott are hugging. I love when actors pull these little added scene-setting or rp moments out of each other with their questions.
I do this thing sometimes where I trap a blade of grass between my two thumbs and whistle through it, and I imagine the bone flute sounds pretty similar. It’s a terrible terrible sound, and I feel very sorry for the Xhorhouse neighbors, even if they’re kinda pretentious.
