AIB but I make rare pairs from a Spin Wheel and make headcanons on how they complete games together:
- Hatter would wave enthusiastically to Chishiya when he reaches to the game lobby. Chishiya would wave back to him but with 10% of the energy Hatter gave
- Chishiya knows Aguni will slam him if he was the reason that Hatter dies in a game, so he’ll definitely watch out for him
- Would low key be so chaotic though, just Chishiya having to constantly pull Hatter back from his risky shenanigans that he tries to pull off in a game
- When they have to run, Hatter tries to sprint and looks behind to see Chishiya just standing there, confused af (Hatter then proceeds to whine for Chishiya to hurry up and sprint)
- They would be seen near each other, though Hatter would most likely scoot to other players to join the beach (unless they are in the beach already)
- Chishiya would do his nonchalant business of problem solving and Hatter would just give encouragement towards his way (awkwardly)
- The only communication they got was staring at each other, Hatter nudging Chishiya’s shoulder, and discussing on how to complete the game
- Chishiya would have to listen to his dirty-minded bs every five seconds
- They finish the game and Hatter gives Chishiya a ride back to the Beach (Hatter blasts very unnecessarily loud music in the car whilst Chishiya sinks even more lower in his seat since he’s so done)
- Best girl boss duo real
- Would give advice to each other when needed. They listen to the advice but do something slightly the same but differently and manage to make it work
- Helps each other when they’re down. They’re both surprisingly good at it
- Akane would shoot snarky comments about the place and/or mainly about everything and Ann either corrects her or agrees with her
- Ann would command Akane to get whatever they need or have to do in the game whilst she does most of the problem solving and finding clues
- Definitely does fist bumps when they successfully finish a game smoothly
- Akane would talk about her life before borderlands whilst Ann listens intently
- Ann would probably teach her more about rock climbing
- Akane slightly realises how they have the same interests even though Ann only said one sentence about her background
- Niragi would barely give af if she was around, though he does admit to have a pool of suspicion in his stomach when he’s around Mira
- Mira would most likely stay silent, and sometimes explain the game rules repeatedly, she’d most likely catch Niragi’s attention from pretending how she has no idea what this game is
- Niragi would chill about, his rifle lost somewhere since he can’t bring it with him anyway
- He would most likely hover around Mira, smirking. The girl would just stand still in a calm composure, not giving af about Niragi as well
- They both use their smarts, though Niragi leans more on the ‘traumatise the other players and fuck around’ (Mira eye rolls at this)
- Niragi whines and clicks his tongue in annoyance a lot, Mira wonders how the beach deals with him around
- Mira often snaps Niragi back to focus harshly. Niragi puts his hands up in a mocking defence, though he isn’t that offended when that happens. He listens anyway since he wants to survive
- They both take a ride back at the Beach and Niragi would be cheering and laughing maniacally the whole way
- Mira isn’t really taking this at all (I know she’s the Game Dealer but seriously, please save her)
- Would be intensely awkward between them
- Like, the pathetic smart and the composed smart working together
- Would definitely discuss how to complete the games in different ways. Kuzuryuu would be heavily detailed and Arisu would be asking ‘What do you mean?’ Everytime until Kuzuryuu learns to explains in an easier way
- They’d still team up though, they manage to work through their (huge) indifferences smoothly
- When Arisu panics, Kuzuryuu would turn on his father-figure mode and put a comforting hand on his shoulder whilst saying that they’ll be alive together
- Kuzuryuu would appreciate Arisu and give him silent praise for his smarts and his logical side. Headcanon that Kuzuryuu used to be like Arisu when he was the same age as him so he sees himself in Arisu
- Arisu secretly admires Kuzuryuu (to be fair he admires anyone at this point)
- They both think that they themselves don’t admire each other because of how unlikely they are to become a duo
- The ride back would be fairly silent, painful but peaceful
Might make another part, who knows? Almost all these characters are hard to write oml-))
