Now for a really weird one. Cracked Vessel is from Chicago, and what they play is a mystery. Maybe the closest i get would be if i say that they play some kind of experimental black metal - just as Cara Neir does but CV doesn’t have that weird sounding guitar going. They have a lot of other things though - right at the end of the first track where it goes from clearcut black metal to a kind of ambient outro. This is the experimental edge i was talking about, and while it’s not as dominant as it is for ara Neir, they still have a lot of interesting things to watch out for.
