Christmas has arrived!

If I’m reading the date codes correctly, this pair of IPAs from the Central City Red Racer Across the Nation Collaboration pack – from the East, Three Beasts American IPA with New Brunswick’s TrailWay Brewing; from the West, Half Way White IPA with Manitoba’s Torque Brewing – were canned about 5 months ago, which admittedly isn’t ideal for the style. Even so, the hops are still in strong evidence in both of them, especially the Three Beasts, which starts with sweet tea notes before shifting to tangerine and grapefruit peel, pleasantly bringing to mind some of the classic US IPAs of a decade or so ago.
