Have you read Crankrats by Katherine Ellis?
Yes, completely!
Yes, partially
No
I've never heard of it
This is OLDDDDD, but i'm throwing it back out to celebrate Mer-may! And yes, jack's an electric eel - zapzap!
Fanart
Some art Nouveau jackline for your timeline
Even though this piece is pretty tiny it did actually make me do a rare getting up and walking away for a bit haha, so here's some bonus progress shots.
Maybe it's bcs i felt pretty art blocky today lol
This one's made out of colored pencils and watercolor paints, it's tedious but hella worth it seeing the finished drawing.
Round 2, poll 11
Madelene, from Crankrats
Rayne, from Homesick
Rayne has amnesia, which is a very bad thing to happen when you're in an apocalyptic setting and cannibalistic demons can possess your allies. Madelene is a noble in exile and has a mechanical arm.
Sketched my 3 favorite disaster gays who all happen to have facial hair and powers 🤷🏻
OK, so that people understand what I’m talking about slightly better-
In Crankrats, the main characters are-
Maddy- A young girl freshly returned to the city
Jack, alias Johnathan- Maddie’s childhood friend/adoptive brother
Harley- Retired soldier, runs the bar where they work
Lettie- Jack’s friend, Harley’s secretary
And now Lettie knows that Maddy is in fact Jack’s long-lost friend Maddy. She’s currently squeaking joyfully about as hard as I am.

Literally the only way you'd get this lot to stand still together.
