METROID EDITS ( 1 / ∞ ) : CRATERIA, ZEBES.
Crateria incorporates Zebes' surface area with some subterranean caverns; it's also where you begin your mission. Samus' ship touches down and remains hovering just above the ground for the duration of the game. Upon first arrival, you'll find the planet strangely deserted but for a few insects who disappear when they see you coming. -- Super Metroid Manual
Super Metroid, Parlor/Alcatraz. This complex room is a bit annoying to work with, so I might try something else. Crateria’s palette isn’t as easy as Norfair’s bubble areas, those have more contrast to work with. I suppose the lack of clear light source makes it harder for me to give shape and direction. Let me know some of your favourite Super Metroid rooms and I’ll see if those are more interesting to draw?
