Dean’s reaction when Sam points a gun at him cracks me up.  You can tell that was basically the last thing Dean expected Sam to do. (Sorry for the crap quality.)

Do you ever think about when Cas said “Where were you when I needed to hear it?” and then think about Dean saying “I was here, where were you?”

And then cry because, yeah, Cas didn’t understand so he messed up but he still knew it was wrong on some level, otherwise he wouldn't of hid it, so that’s not good,

But also, if Dean had told Cas how much he meant to the team and to him specifically, then Cas probably would have heard what he needed to hear and would have gone to Dean and the Purgatory and Crazy!Sam thing would've never happened.

Sure, that would’ve taken away Crazy!Cas and Benny, but from a practical and not a storytelling standpoint, it’s just a really sad rift between them.
