The way (svu spoiler alert) Elliot blurted out “I love you” to Olivia while he was sleep deprived/out of his mind is giving me Winchester ideas

Love confession or just a platonic brother declaration, I just think it would’ve been interesting to see the same concept happen

Like just imagine Sam during the trials towards the end when he was saying everything that was on his mind bc he was losing it. If he just said “I love you” to Dean without a second thought, I wonder how Dean would react. He’d probably stare at Sam for a minute, making sure he heard his brother right. Sam would still be laying on the bed, eyes hazy, probably not even realizing he said it. Dean would want to say it back, but Sam’s out of it and probably wouldn’t hear him. And it breaks Dean’s heart a little that Sam could only say it when he couldn’t hold it in, but knowing that his little brother loves him is enough...
