Rescue

Mother was driving an old 70's ford pickup truck like a maniac. She was going over curbs and along sidewalks to get around traffic. She was even driving the wrong way into oncoming traffic. I was just clinging to the bench seat and screaming the entire time. We arrive safely at familiar, but very old, house. We get down and walk in. I am still trembling from the crazy drive. We find my grandmother Connie inside. She had been abused by her daughters (my aunts) Lucy and Suzie. They weren't around at the moment so mother got grandmother to pack some clothes and stuff, and we loaded it all in the back of the truck. Then we three slid into the bench seat of the pickup. Mother drove back in a slightly less maniac fashion, thankfully. We ended up stopped by a construction zone. Mother was having none of it, and started driving slowly through the construction area, pushing barriers aside with the front of the truck, and giving the evil old-mother stare to anyone who dared look our way. Eventually we made it back to an unfamiliar house. While I unloaded the truck. mother and grandmother went inside. Figures they would leave me to do all the work. When I got settled and went inside, mother was laying on her belly under a blanket on a bed, watching TV. Grandma was sitting at the kitchen table and reading something. I am at the table next to her. I walk over to mother and flop, laying on the right side of her on the bed, on top of blankets. We watch the TV in silence for a few minutes. Then mother wants grandma to lay next to her so they can talk  quietly. It's not a question to me, it's that I am in the way and need to move. I move to mother's left side and tell I'm not going any further. Grandmother lays next to mother. I tell them to speak in another language if they don't want me eavesdropping, since I don't understand it. The show on TV is Bill Murray from Caddy Shack, but some new footage that wasn't in the movie. It's showing a comedy setup of him kicking a red and white soccer ball into a small lake of water, but a different version of him is there to catch it, except it's now a tiny golf ball, smaller than normal golf ball. It's less like part of the movie and more like different, unrelated, movie scenes spliced together to make it look like it was one scene.
