I’m really glad for you that you’re getting along without me. Im working on finding that place for getting along with out you, myself.
There’s no need to say anything else to you. Without realizing it you gave me what I needed to see this for what it is. You didn’t exactly come out and admit it, but you came close enough that I heard it and felt it for exactly what it was.
You’re going to come back when you don’t hear from me. In the beginning if two days passed you’d come looking. Now, you don’t bother even responding until I get upset. You’re busy you say. You work from morning until midnight. Bull. Shit.
With distance you won’t care for me anymore. That’s what you said. There’s already distance. You chose it. You choose it.
You can have it.
Eventually you’re going to notice my absence. You’re going to wonder why I haven’t reached out. So unlike me.
You’re going to back pedal and be cute. Your charm irresistible. You showed your cards. The jig is up. It’s too late, you broke it. You broke me.
I don’t think I love you anymore.
Week 2 - Check In - Artist Date
2. Oh dear, my Artist Date didn't go so well this week. Things got complicated when my commitments in other areas required more of my time this week, so I got pretty busy. But the main problem was that I didn't pre-plan and schedule my Artist Date into my calendar, and so I kept putting it off in order to do other things. This lack of scheduling in fun (and social) activities is a great example of how I am currently the predominant Crazy Maker in my life. I did however try to put some effort into taking a break a couple of times this week seeing as I was so busy.
One of the things I really like doing is getting some work done at a cafe - like a business lunch, but only I'm invited. It sounds odd, but I love the feeling of being productive while being in a chilled out environment. So on Friday, when I was lacking some motivation, I put on a favourite outfit and went to a nearby cafe for morning tea while I typed up some notes that I needed to get done.
And yesterday I took advantage of the half-price takeaway coffee on offer at another cafe, and I sat in the park across the road while I drank it doing nothing in particular. It was lovely.
So, not a complete failure in that I remembered to take time out for me, but not a success either as I didn't deliberately set aside time for something FUN. I look forward to an opportunity to try again next week.
