when i say men will never understand female friendships i mean they will never understand the real raw connection of it. how being connected with someone as in tune with their emotions as you are can really affect the relationship both positively and negatively. How both of you being victims of societal expectations and oppression can take a tole on one of you and harm the other. Or how much love and passion can go into the friendship that u feel the happiest when you’re with her. men focus more on impressing their friends while girls focus more on how their emotions affect their girls and how they can deepen the connection
