My Creapen brush pen cartridge was almost out of ink when I did this drawing, which allowed me to do some shading that I normally couldn’t do because the ink would be to dark.

Still playing with more realistic art, and this one shows where my control is weakest. On most bristle brush pens, at the very tip, there are fine bristles that are longer than the rest.  If you hold the pen a certain way…

I’ve been playing around with brush pens a lot lately.  I’m not doing too bad, but as with everything practice makes perfect, and there are still times were I’m not getting the results I want.

Normally I do abstract or non-objective work, but it occurred to me that I might get better results if I start doing more realistic work with the brush pen.  Not as in photo-realism, but by drawing clearly…
