I kinda feel like a trader to my knitting passion but still am amazed I can read some crochet patterns now. And making toys is so much fun so I’m getting in lots of practice. Here is the latest completion. No worries knit enthusiasts 😉…. I have several mini knit dolls to finish too 😁 I used a hemp/acrylic blend for the body. And a wool yarn for the hat and inside of ears. Things I would do different: 1. use a small yarn for a smaller completed mouse (I believe the pattern suggested smaller but this is what I had on hand) 2. Knit the hat instead of crocheting it 3. Work with 100% wool instead of hemp. Are you cyber shopping today? Honestly after a holiday (even a calmer one like we had) with all the prep and thought that went into it my mind doesn’t even want to think about shopping. But I am excited for the calm of Christmas. I’ve been incorporating calm and pause into each day. Better health choices help with calm. Taking control of anxious thoughts helps with calm. Pear/Fennel Kombucha home brew. Kinda sweet so letting it sit a bit for a second ferment. I have to say this is such a fun ongoing process. I can rely on a never ending supply of kombucha and year round fun in experimentation. Do you brew Kombucha? What’s your favorite flavor either home brewed or store bought doesn’t matter. I have some favorite store bought flavors I can rarely pass up. Rose/berry #synergy is my favorite!! And I might say hard to find! So I ordered some rose extract and have been experiment. Fennel/pear too; that’s where I got the idea for this batch. Have to say if you are a borderline kombucha fan #somakombucha may not be your cup of tea (😁no pun intended yet it worked lol) I love it! It’s more how my brew turns out but how they get so much bubbly I’m not entirely sure. And then one I’ve never seen together but I figured out I LOVE from experimenting is cherry/lavender.
